James C. Gallagher

James C. Gallagher, 87, of Rockland passed away peacefully on December 10, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Jim (known by many as Charlie or Chuck), a proud Marine Corps Veteran grew up in Dorchester. With his beloved wife, Patricia, they raised a family of 6 in Rockland. He retired from Polaroid and enjoyed many years in Naples, FL. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American legion, where he dedicated many years and made life-long friends. Jim will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Jim was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (Turecki). Jim is survived by his children; Charleen Cherwek, John Gallagher, Tricia Gallagher, Kathleen Mahoney, Jeanne Mann and Jamie Gallagher. He was also survived by his beloved grandchildren; James, John, Patrick, Owen, Bridget, Evan and Katherine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jim's family request all of his loved ones to join them in celebrating his beautiful life at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Saturday, December 16th from 11AM - 1PM, with a prayer service to follow.
