

Mr. James J. Glennon, 63 of Halifax died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth after being stricken ill at home. The son of the late James and Frances Daylon Glennon, he was born in Boston on June 19, 1942. He was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain and lived in Roslindale before moving to Halifax 14 years ago. Mr. Glennon served in the Navy during Vietnam. He was employed as a Computer Technician for the Brockton Enterprise. He enjoyed sailing, fishing and loved all sports. He is survived by his wife, Diane Scalia Glennon, 1 son, James A. Glennon of Northridge CA, 2 daughters, Lisa M. Russin of Mayville NY and Kelie A. Glennon of Queens NY, 2 brothers, Gregory Glennon of Dedham and Brian of Quincy, 3 sisters, Maura McDonald of West Roxbury, Claire Glennon of Jamaica Plain and Betsy Molanaro of Spring TX and 3 grandchildren, Michael Russin, Jeremiah Russin and Sarah Russin. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 22, 2006 at 11 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Rte 14 in Hanson. Interment will be private. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham MA 01701-4680.
