

Jane Thérèse (Sarjeant) Foley, 89, of Pembroke, died Sunday May 20, 2018 in Boston. She leaves three sons, Thomas Foley and his wife Diane, Joseph Foley and his wife Sandy and William Foley and his wife Cheri; seven daughters, Mary Walek and her husband Gregory, Rita Dunham and her husband Thomas, Jane McNulty, Clare Foley, Rose Traynor and her husband Steven, Ann Foley and Katherine Roden and her husband Roger. She leaves behind her sister Julia Hallahan, eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren – who called her Nana. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, William H. Foley and three brothers and two sisters.
Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of Joseph J. Sarjeant and Julia (Groden) Sarjeant. Mrs. Foley had lived in Pembroke since 1964. She was a regular communicant of St. Thecla Catholic Church in Pembroke. Her dedication to her family and to her faith made her home a welcome haven for friends and family.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in Hanover with funeral Mass at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 145 Washington St, Rte 53 in No. Pembroke on Friday at 10am. Burial to follow at Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
