Janice M. Meehan

Janice M. (Bouzan) Meehan, 72 of Cotuit and FL, passed away after a short illness in Florida on December 30, 2013. Born on July 6, 1941 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Michael "Leo" and Eileen (Sullivan) Bouzan. Janice retired after working for Quincy Hospital for 10 years. Janice was the wife of the late Peter J. Meehan. Devoted mother of Kevin M. Meehan of Abington, Edward D. Meehan of FL, Eileen M. Blake and her husband Mark of Halifax, and Shawn P. Meehan and his wife Ciara of VA. Dear sister of Edward Bouzan of Quincy, Jack Bouzan of Rockland, Kathryn Zenalik of Marshfield, and Linda Varitimos of Halifax. Cherished grandmother of 9. Janice was also a loving foster mother for many years. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53 in HANOVER, on Monday from 4-7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139 in Hanover, on Tuesday at 9 AM. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
