

Mrs. Jean M. Kulas Cummings, 45, of Hanson died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 in the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a long struggle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was born in Boston on March 18, 1963, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Farrell Sheehan. She was raised in Dorchester and moved at an early age to Randolph, where she was a 1981 Graduate of Randolph High School. Mrs. Cummings spent the early part of her career working in the Stop & Shop offices, but decided to leave to pursue her true passion, which was Nursing. Jean graduated as a RN from Quincy College in 2004 and was employed as a Nurse at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. She was extremely proud of being a nurse and she was an exceptional one at that. She is survived by her loving husband, John J. Cummings, 3 aunts, Jean Krous of Pembroke, Catherine Thomas of North Reading and Theresa Henton of Blue Springs, MO and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte.14 in Hanson. Interment will be in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte.14 & 58 in HANSON on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
