Jean Horn

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and friend, Jean Horn, who left this world peacefully on August 30th, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Quincy on April 3, 1935, to William and Laura Keegan, Jean lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She was married 55 Years to Al Horn-deceased (the love of her life). Jean’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother to Lori & (Paul Hayes), Suzi Flanagan - deceased, Ken & (Kathy DeLong), Dana and Brett- deceased. She was a cherished Grandmother to Matt, Justin, Kris, Kyle & Kory. Step Grandmother to Paul Jr.-deceased and Tammi Hayes. Great Granny Nanny to Jeremy, Francesca, Jack and Luca. Jean was also adored by many Nieces and Nephews. Her love extended far beyond her family circle, touching countless lives.

In addition to being a loving Mother and Grandmother, she was the loving Sister to Peg Murphy-deceased, Karen Curtin and Judy Hanna. Jean enjoyed traveling with Al, her sisters and friends. She had countless lifelong friends who were very special to her. She especially loved North Conway, NH and Ogunquit, Maine. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at 10:00AM, at Our Lady of the Angels - St. Mary’s, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139. Interment immediately following with procession to Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, 20 Sea Street, Quincy. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of a remarkable woman who gave so much to so many.
