John S. Harrington

John S. Harrington, 72 of Pembroke, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Born in Boston on August 13, 1951, he was the son of the late Stanley and Irene (McCarty) Harrington. John was a graduate of Northeastern College where he received his Bachelors in Engineering. He was a Line Supervisor for the Foxboro Company for many years. John was always there to help anyone. Most of all, John loved dogs, including his most recent dog, Bella.

John was the brother of Linda J. Good Buffalo of Valentine, Nebraska, and the late Irene P. Karstunen. He was the uncle of Gabriel Night Shield and Nathan Night Shield and great uncle of Lyric Marie Night Shield. John was also the partner of 41 years to the late George Dexter. Also survived by many cousins, especially the Rent Family. John is also survived Franklin Witherspoon his longtime friend and companion. 

A graveside service will be held at the Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High St, Canton, on Friday at 1 PM.
