John P. O’Day, 88 years old, passed away early on October 4, 2018 at Seasons Hospice in Milton, MA. He was born on March 17, 1930 in Derby, CT. and lived most of his life in Somerville before moving to Norwell. John was a machinist who enjoyed fishing and boating. He also proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He leaves behind his brother, William and his wife, Nancy; James and his wife, Rosemary and their children, Lauren O’Day of Rockland; Kristen Davis, her husband, Adam and their son, John, of Pembroke; James O’Day and his wife, Kimberly of Quincy.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St. Cor. Rte. 14 & 58, Hanson, on Tuesday, October 9th from 9-10:30 AM, followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St. Rte. 14, Hanson, at 11 AM. Burial at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
