
John B. Raimondi, Sr, 80 of Marshfield died Nov. 24 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA of complications following a Nov. 6 car accident. A veteran of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, he graduated in 1948 from East Boston High School. For more than 30 years, he owned and operated Raimondi Catering serving clients in Brockton and Bridgewater. Husband to Dianne Adams Raimondi, he is also survived by his three children, John B. Raimondi, Jr., of Quincy, MA; Marc A. Raimondi of Arlington, VA and Amannda Raimondi of Marshfield, MA. Other family members include his granddaughter Sophia Raimondi of Arlington, VA; brothers Vincent Raimond of Chestertown, MD, Peter Raimondi of Winthrop, MA, and Richard Raimondi of Jamaica Plain, MA; sisters Margaret Giambrone of Revere, MA, and Ann Crowley of Las Vegas, NV; and his former wife Donna Raimondi of Amesbury, MA. He is preceded in death by Italian immigrant parents Pietro Raimondi and Maria Graziano; brothers Murray Raymond, Carl Graziano, Joseph Raimondi, Albert Raimondi; and sisters Rose Serra and Virginia Devlin. Friends are invited to join family at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rt 53, Hanover, MA 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30 followed by a noon funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption, 40 Canal St, Green Harbor, MA, and a 1:30 p.m. burial at Couch Cemetery, west side of Union St, across from Oak St. Marshfield.
