Mr. John J. Sharp, 79 of Carver formerly of Abington, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at home with his family. Survived by his wife Pauline of 54 years, a sister Mary Stotler of Milville NJ, his 5 children, Cheryl and John Cellemare of Lawrence, Pamela and Michael Jager Fleming of Hanson, John Sharp of Hanson, Fred and Lisa Sharp of Brockton and Kelly Sharp of Carver. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Veteran of Korea, he served in the US Navy for 9 years and serves on the USS Smalley DD565. He was a Friend of Bill's in the Rockland and Abington area for 30 years. He was an avid outdoors man, loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a diehard Boston Red Sox fan. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St, in ROCKLAND on Friday from 4-7 PM followed by a service at 7 PM. Interment on Saturday at 9 AM in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington.
