

John J. Sullivan, 60, of Pembroke, formerly of Dorchester, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at his home in Pembroke. The son of the late Patrick J. and Rosemary Moloney Sullivan, he was born in Dorchester on May 11, 1943. He was raised and educated in Dorchester and was a 1961 graduate of Dorchester High School. He moved to Pembroke in 1968. He was Past Grand Knight twice of the Richard Cardinal Cushing Council 6267 in Pembroke. He was a former member of the Pembroke Democratic Town Committee. He was a former usher and communicant of St. Thecla's Church in Pembroke. Mr. Sullivan had been employed as a driver for Commonwealth Wine and Sprits. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie L. Adduci Sullivan, 2 sons, Michael J. Sullivan and his wife, Christine of Stockbridge GA and Brian J. Sullivan and his wife, Maria of Douglas MA, i daughter, Christine M. McNeilly and her husband, Mark of Kingston, t brother, James P. Sullivan of Needham, 3 sisters, Kathleen M. Griswold of Harwich, Joan M. Barrett of Orleans and Jean Marino of Lancaster PA, 5 grandchildren, Ryne, Andrew and Sean McNeilly all of Kingston and Connor and Cameron Sullivan both of Stockbridge GA. Also survived by his father in law, Vincent J. Adduci of Hanover. He was the brother of the late Michael X. Sullivan and the late Rosemary D. Ortman. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 11 AM in St. Thecla's Church, 145 Washington Street, Rte 53 in North Pembroke. Internment in Pembroke Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Friday from 4-8 PM.
