John J. Tobin

John J.Tobin, of Norwell, formerly of Dorchester, June 27th. Beloved and devoted husband of Geraldine M. (McGrath), the love of his life for 66 years. Loving father of 12 children; Bill and his wife Diane Tobin of Pembroke, Mary and her husband Leo Breen of Plymouth, Teresa and her husband Ed DeMille of Pembroke, Cathy and her husband Rick Sanda of Sarasota, Florida, Jack and his wife Karen Tobin of Newton, Dan Tobin and his fiancé Mary Coutts of Whitman, Lisa and her husband Tom Cooper of Plymouth, Jay Jay and her husband Bobby Morse of Belmont, Crissy and her husband Peter DeMille of Charlotte, North Carolina, Skip and his wife Kim Tobin of Norwell, Tricia and her husband Tommy Downs of South Boston, and Nancy Dillon of Plymouth. Brother of the late Katherine O'Donnell, David Tobin, Edmund Tobin, Mary Harty, and Alice Tobin. Cherished grandfather "Papa" to 45 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rt 53,HANOVER, on Tuesday July 5 from 3-8 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Helen Church, 393 Washington St., Norwell, Wednesday, July 6 at 10 A.M. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 12:30 P.M.

Veteran WWII-U.S. Navy. Late retired custodian for the Boston Public Schools for over 42 years. John was an avid golfer and particularly enjoyed spending time with his big family.
