John D. Walsh Jr.

John D. Walsh Jr., 87 of Pembroke, passed away on April 23, 2015. Born on August 28, 1927 in Weymouth, he was the son of the late John D. Sr. and Pauletta (Kristofferson) Walsh. John held the record for the longest Pembroke Town Moderator, serving for 59 years. He was the past President of Mass Association of Realtors and past President of the Plymouth County Board of Realtors. John was the proud longtime owner of John D. Walsh, Jr. Insurance & Real Estate Agency for 55 years. John also served his country in the National Guard. John was the devoted husband of Claire R. (Campbell) Walsh. Loving father of Bonnie L. Baird of Pembroke. Cherished grandfather of MJ and Nicole of Pembroke. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, HANOVER, on Monday from 4-8 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thecla Church, 145 Washington St., Pembroke, on Tuesday at 11 AM. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery in Weymouth.
