Joseph F. Keefe

Joseph F. Keefe, Jr. 65 of Pembroke died January 3 at Boston Medical Center. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Helen M. Carroll Sr. Joseph was raised and educated in Weymouth and a graduate of Northeastern University. He was self-employed in the furniture industry. Joseph is survived by his wife Joyce C. Dembroski Keefe, his children Kristin M. Burns and her husband Ron of Newbury, Gregory J. Keefe and his wife Kristin of Hanover and Matthew E. Keefe and his wife Oksana of Pembroke and his grandchildren Sarah, Parker, Peyton, Doug, Alex and Tyler. He also leaves his siblings Janet M. Carey of Weymouth and Donald P. Keefe of Norwell and many nieces and nephews and many, many close friends. Joseph loved the Patriots, boating, the beach, politics and especially spending time with family. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in Hanover on Monday from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:00AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
