Joyce S. Linde, 83 of Scituate RI, formerly of Hanover passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. The daughter of the late Milford Gordon Small and Lillian (Peck) Small, she was born in Canada on April 7, 1931. Before her retirement, Joyce had been employed as a secretary for the Hanover Building Department. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, good food and gardening. Wife of the late John V. Linde, she was the mother of Laura J. Linde of Stoneham and Jason J. Linde and his wife Dena of Scituate RI. Sister of Clifford Small and Cecil "Bunny" Small both of Canada, and the late Muriel Nicholson, Laura Friesen, Alec Small, Glen Small and Ruth Vosper. She was the sister in law of Wesley Vosper of North Dakota. Grandmother of Danny, Brynn, Avery and Luke Linde all of RI and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Friday from 4-7 PM. All other services will be private.
