Judith Brown

Judith Louise Brown, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Weymouth passed away on January 17th, 2023 at the age of 79.

She is survived by her daughter Helen-Terese and husband David Clark; son Daniel and wife Lynne Albert; granddaughters Victoria and husband Shawn Medeiros, Brianna Albert and partner James Latak; grandsons Aaron Clark, Justus, Travis, Shamus and Lucas Albert; and great-granddaughters Maeve and Violet - all of Marshfield; sisters, Arlene and husband William Davies of Bridgewater and Joyce Fallon of Carver; brother-in-law Russel Naylor of Connecticut; and many nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws.

She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret G. (Swanson) and Walter L Brown; sisters, Lois and husband George Peck of Carver, twin Joan Naylor of Connecticut and Linda Smith of Hanover, as well as her daughter-in-law, Nam Hui Albert.

Judy grew up in Norwell and graduated with the Norwell High School class of 1961. After raising her family, she studied accounting and computer programming at Massasoit Community College. She worked at the Stop & Shop Corporate Office from 1982 until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of the Lion’s Club of Marshfield for a number of years.

She was a feisty, strong woman who loved a good laugh. At home Judy loved to paint, tend to her plants, play cards with friends and spend time with family. 

Judy will be deeply missed and always remembered by all of those who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Hanover, MA, Monday January 23, 2023 from 9:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral home service starting at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at Washington Street Cemetery - 360 Washington St, Norwell, MA.
