Julia "Sheila" Manning

Julia "Sheila" Mary (Long) Manning, 92 of Rockland, passed away on January 22, 2025. Born in County Kerry, Ireland on November 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Denis and Mary (O'Sullivan) Long. She worked and retired from South Shore Hospital after many years. Sheila enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening.

Sheila was the beloved wife of Paul Manning, Sr. Devoted mother of Paul Manning, Jr. of Rockland, Maureen Girouard and her husband John of Middleboro, Michael Manning of Rockland, Ann Marcoux and her husband Bob of Nashua, NH, and the late Kevin Manning. Cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 8. Loving sister of Jeremiah, Sean, and Daniel Long, and the late Denis Long. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 45 East Water St, Rockland, on Tuesday, January 28th at 8am, followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St, Rockland, at 9am. Burial at Holy Family Cemetery, 92 Centre Ave, Rockland.
