

Lillian A. Davidaitis Malone, 84 a long time resident of Marshfield, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret Yuronis Davidaitis she was born on May 23, 1927 in Brockton where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Malone was a homemaker and also owned an antique shop in Marshfield and Hanover for many years. She was an avid antique collector, enjoyed ballroom dancing, travel, the White Mountains and watching the Kentucky Derby each year. Wife of the late Fred W. Malone, Mrs. Malone is survived by her children, Bruce E. and his wife Linda of W. Bridgewater, Brian W. and his companion Jane Alessi-DeVito of Chester, NH, Gary S. of Carver, John F. of Brooksville, FL, Jeanne A. and her husband Peter Ekberg of Plymouth and Marcia J. Bergeron of Pembroke. Loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother Albert Davidaitis of Avon and two nieces, Carol Geary of Brockton and Robin Matchett of Avon. Visitation will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53, in HANOVER on Friday, Aug. 26 from 5-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat. Aug. 27 at 9am at St. Christine's Church in Marshfield followed by interment in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
