Marcel Maillet

Born on September 5, 1973, in Leominster, Massachusetts, Marcel built his life around the family he loved. He married Courtney in 2008, and together they raised their two daughters, who were the center of his world.

Marcel built a career in marketing spanning more than two decades. But the work of his life was his family. He learned to ski as an adult, for Courtney, because she loved it and he wanted to share it with her, and in time he shared it with their girls. He also loved the countless hours spent on the sidelines of the girls’ soccer, softball and lacrosse games, season after season. For his friends and extended family, he most often showed his love through food.

When he and Courtney hosted, for a holiday or a quick hello, the meal was always extraordinary, made with incredible skill and gusto. Anyone who sat at his kitchen counter knew they were cared for. Everything Marcel did, he did to make life good for his family, and he gave it everything he had.

Marcel is survived by his wife, Courtney Maillet; his two daughters, Charlotte "Charley" Maillet and Skylar "Sky" Maillet; and many family members who loved him.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2026, in the Sullivan Funeral Home 551 Washington St. (Rte 53) Hanover, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
