Margaret H. Mahoney, 93 of Hanover formerly of Hingham died March 13. Born in Falkirk, Scotland on November 3, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Duffy O'Donnell. She attended Cambridge Schools, graduating from St. Mary's High School and Remington Rand Machine School in Boston. Margaret also served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. She worked for the Hanover School Department as a cafeteria worker for many years and was an avid bingo player. Wife of the late Paul S. Mahoney, she is survived by her sons Stephen M. Mahoney of Hanover and Michael F. Mahoney and his wife Lori of Whitman. Grandmother of Daniel P. Mahoney of Whitman. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick O'Donnell. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53, in Hanover on Thursday from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in the Veteran's National Cemetery in Bourne.
