Margaret E. Walsh McCarthy

Margaret E. Walsh McCarthy, 85 of So Easton died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Norwell Knoll Nursing Home. She was born on October 8, 1926 and was raised and educated in the Savin Hill section of Dorchester. After she was married she lived in Hyde Park before moving to So. Easton. Wife of the late John F. McCarthy, she was the mother of Ann Somers of Walpole. Stephen McCarthy of La Crescenta CA, Ellen Leahy of Bridgewater, Marie Duggan of Norwell, Eileen Lovering of Weymouth and the late Michael McCarthy. Grandmother of Noelle, Sean, Kristine, Jillian, Laura, Daniel, Christopher, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Grace and the late Kevin McCarthy. Great grandmother of Somer and Declan Higgins. Aunt of John Walsh of Jamaica Plain and sister of the late Jack Walsh. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
