Maria Elaine Morganella passed on August 5, 2026, at the age of 83 after a period of failing health. Daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta (Amaru) Morganella. Dear sister of Joanna Crowley and her Husband William of Hanover and Joseph Morganella and his wife Kathleen of Weymouth. Loving aunt of Kerri Doherty of Hanover, Christine McDonald of Cohasset, Steven Crowley of Hull, Nicole Delany of Plymouth, Scott Morganella of Weymouth and Joseph Morganella III of CA. Maria was also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Maria enjoyed painting, dancing, and playing cards with friends and was a great tennis player in her younger years.
Employed for many years at Harvard University Medical school where she enjoyed a very accomplished career.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home 551 Washington St. (Rte 53) Hanover, MA 02339. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Monday August 10, 2026 at Our Lady of the Angels (St. Mary's Church), 392 Hanover St., Hanover, MA. Burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
