Marilyn A. Walter Hegerich

Mrs. Marilyn A. Walter Hegerich, 77 of Hanover died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Bay Path at Duxbury after a long illness. The daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Freers Walter, she was born in Rockville NY on November 4, 1932. She was raised and educated in Brooklyn NY. She loved gardening and cooking. Mrs. Hegerich was active at her church, House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Hingham and had volunteered at Norwell Knoll Nursing Home in the 1970's and 80's. She is survived by her husband Robert D. Hegerich, 2 daughters, Debbie A. Hegerich-Bartula of Plymouth and Cathy Martin and her husband David of Hingham, grandmother of Katie Bartula, Emily Bartula, Drew Martin and Hannah Martin, second mother to Paula Pelissier and her husband Arthur and her children Andrew and Jamie of Hanover and Marilou Hall and her husband Robert of Whitman. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Service on Friday at 10:30 AM in House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 916 Main St in Hingham. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Hingham.
