Mrs. Marilyn J. McCarthy Keane, 76 of Hanover formerly of Rockland died Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Brockton Hospital after a long illness. The daughter of the late Frederick and Noma David McCarthy, she was born in Rockland on January 26, 1930. She was raised and educated in Rockland and lived there until moving to Hanover 11 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Michael F. Keane Sr, 3 sons, Michael F. Keane Jr of Hanover, Gary L. Keane of Grand Island NE and Robert D. Keane of Sagamore, 2 daughters, Maureen A. Glynn of Norton and Diane M. Mincone of Taunton and 9 grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert McCarthy, Frederick McCarthy and the late Helen Massey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street in Rockland. Interment at a later date in Holy Family Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water Street in ROCKLAND on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
