

Marilyn A. McNamara, 92 of Pembroke passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born in Boston on February 7, 1932. Marilyn had been employed at Chelsea Clock, Raytheon and at B.C. Ames as a manufacturing sales representative. She was an avid whist, poker and cribbage player, bowled into her mid-eighties, never missed a Celtics game, and was active at the Pembroke Community Center. Above all, she enjoyed family, friends, and every minute with her grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late John Francis McNamara, she is survived by her children, Maryanne Curley and her husband George of Pembroke and John F. McNamara and his wife Ellen Murphy of Hollis NH. She was the sister of Joseph Casey of Milford NH and the late Thomas Casey. Grandmother of Kelleyanne Curley and her husband Josh Fairley of Malden, Peter Curley and his wife Kathleen of Abington and Timothy Curley and his wife Hannah Baxter of Whitman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in Hanover on Mon, Jan 6th from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary’s, 392 Hanover St, Rte 139 in Hanover. Burial will follow at Mt. Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
