

Born on October 28, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Emily (Zottoli) Glora, and was the beloved sister of the late Susan E. (Glora) Doherty. Mary Ann built a life centered on devotion to family, faith, and community. On July 5, 1968, she married the love of her life, William S. Dolan, and together they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage filled with dedication, laughter, and enduring love.
Mary Ann graduated from high school and continued her education by attending night school at Boston College. She worked as Assistant to the Director of the Boston College Alumni Association and served as Activities Director at a nursing home in Dorchester, where she brought joy and compassion to many residents and their families.
She resided in the Squantum section of Quincy for over 40 years, where she raised her family and formed lasting friendships. For the past 17 years, Mary Ann and Bill made their home at Jacobs Pond Estate in Norwell.
Mary Ann was the devoted wife of William S. Dolan. She was the beloved mother of Thomas James Dolan and his wife Denise of Scituate, MA, and their children Thomas James Dolan, Jr. and Shane Francis Dolan; William S. Dolan, Jr. and his wife Jennifer (Parker) Dolan of Prospect, KY, and their children William Patrick Dolan and Stephanie Grace Dolan; and Jennifer Jennings and her husband John of South Easton, MA, and their children Zach Manganaro, Maya Manganaro, Michael Jennings, and Cami Jennings. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Erin and Kate MacDonald and Linda Hyman for their tremendous care, love, and respect they gave to Mary Ann for more than a year.
All services will be private. A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be held in late spring. Please check back for details as they become available.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in her family.
