Mary Ellen "Ellie" Golden

Mary Ellen “Ellie” (Dailey) Golden, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 20, 2021 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph. Her greatest joy was her family; she is survived by her 11 children and 29 grandchildren loving mother of Maureen (Allen) Holland of Newton, Mary (Kenneth) Roth of Marshfield, Kathleen (Kenneth) McClarey of Marshfield, John Golden (Sarah Crowley) of Marshfield, Timothy BPD (Joanie) Golden of West Roxbury, Daniel (Kathleen) Golden of Norwood, Amy Fagerlund (Eric) of Marshfield, Andrew Golden of Swampscott, Kerriann (Stephen) Turner of Melrose, Kristen (Mark) Riordan of Pembroke, and Kaitlyn (David) Itz of Abington; loving grandmother of Melanie, Haley, Kaylen, Madison, JohnThomas, James (USMC), Kerin, MaryKate, Hannah, Emily, Owen, Allison, Joseph, Cole, Matthew, Maggie, Rylan, Ryan, Jack, Blake, Maeve, Emerson, Vivienne, Brennan, Ronan, Ellie, Jake, William and Nolan. Daughter of the late Francis and Marian Dailey of South Boston; Sister of Paul Dailey of Melrose, Daniel “Leo” Dailey of Braintree, and John Dailey of Marshfield. Predeceased by her siblings Francis, Michael, Gerald, and Kevin. Mary Ellen is survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Thursday, July 22nd from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 23rd at 10 AM at St Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Route 139, Hanover.
