

Mary V. (Eisnor) Foley, 81 of Hanson passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. The daughter of the late Ronald Eisnor and Mary (Folan) Schwab, she was born in Cambridge on April 26, 1942. Mary was a single parent that went back to school and learned a trade in order to support her five children. She became a machinist and was employed as a machine shop inspector for many years. Mary was an Avon Representative for 30 years and most of her customers became her good friends. Mary’s last employment, up until 6 months ago, was serving on the Hanson Board of Registrars serving her town and supporting voters' needs for over a decade. Although she was busy, Mary found time to give back to her community by volunteering at the Hanson Food Pantry where she had many friends.
Mary was the mother of Deirdre (Sullivan) Walsh and her husband Richard of Waltham, Karen (Sullivan) Aveni and her husband Michael of Kingston, Edward Sullivan of Hanson, Daniel Sullivan and Tricia Le of Hanson, James Sullivan and his wife Melissa of Hanson. She was the grandmother of James, Jacquelyn, Michael and his wife Rachel, Jordan and his wife Sara, Krista, Jenna, Jolene, Brianna and Michael W. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in Hanson on Thursday from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at Holy Apostles Parish - St Joseph’s,1 Maquan St, Rte 14 in Hanson. Burial will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson.
