

Mary E. (Pardo) Goodwin, 76 of Halifax, passed away on April 17, 2018. Born on March 30, 1942 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Keegan) Pardo. Mary was employed as a RN for many years and was a board member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association. She was head of the OR at Lemuel Shatuck Hospital then worked at South Shore Hospital for 10 years. She loved painting, traveling, golfing and going to the beach.
Mary was the beloved wife of William F. Goodwin. Devoted mother of William J. Goodwin and wife Patricia Mosesso of Plymouth, Joseph J. Goodwin and wife Alexandra of Clinton, Karen M. Goodwin of Halifax and Erica Newell and husband William of Plymouth. Dear sister of Carole Maiona and husband Joseph of Plymouth, Lawrence Pardo and wife Liz of Carver, Joseph Pardo and wife Marilyn of Sandwich, Dollie Glynn and the late Robert of Plymouth, Patricia Costopulos and husband George of Woburn, Richard Pardo and wife Lisa of Plymouth, and Robert Pardo and wife Angela of Roslindale. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 3. Mary also leaves many dear nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan St. Cor. Rte. 14 & 58, Hanson, on Friday, April 20th from 4-7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett St. Rte 58, Halifax on Saturday at 9 AM. Burial to follow in Milton Cemetery.
