Mary C Mahoney

Mary C. (Creedon) Mahoney, of Hingham, originally from Belmont and formerly of Duxbury, died on November 14 at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Mahoney, originally from Roslindale, and the loving mother to her six children: Brian J. Mahoney of Plympton, Maryellen Boyd of Hingham, Eileen Mahoney (and partner William Gordon) of Jamaica Plain, Neil P. Mahoney (and wife Kristen) of East Bridgewater, Matthew C. Mahoney of Kingston, and Daniel J. Mahoney of Hingham. Her life was enriched by her cherished grandchildren: Brendan, Sarah, Christopher, Jack, and Jeffrey. She was a passionate and knowledgeable sports fan, who traveled to fields and rinks to cheer for her children, and rooted just as fiercely for the Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox and Revs. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston Office of Mission Advancement or the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 in Resurrection Church, 1057 Main St, Rte 228 in Hingham. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
