Mary Molly Romano

Mary "Molly" Romano, 76 of Cranston, RI, passed away peacefully on April 24. Formerly of Cloone, Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Wife of the late Arthur Romano. Beloved mother of Arthur M. Artie Romano and his wife Susan W. of Plymouth. Grandmother of Anthony J. Romano Tony of Plymouth. Sister of Michael Reilly and his wife Ellen of Canton and the late Brigid Reilly and Christine O'Connell. Also survived by several devoted nieces and nephews. Molly dedicated her life to volunteering in Cranston for many causes close to her heart. She worked diligently for the Democratic Political Party. She proudly greeted the military upon their return from duty and most especially fundraised tirelessly for children affected by cancer. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am in St. Thecla Church, 145 Washington St., Rte 53 in No. Pembroke. Interment in Pembroke Center Cemetery.
