Mary Ellen Snell, peacefully passed into heaven on November 12th, 2022, surrounded by several of her loved ones. Born in Hanover, Ma on December 31, 1962 to Richard and Lorraine Leonard. Mary was their sixth child welcomed into their busy and loving home. Mary graduated with a certificate in Electronics from South Shore Vocational High School in Hanover Ma 1980. She went on to work in the electronic industry. Mary was an exceptionally devoted, loving mother to her three beautiful children, Andrew, Kimberly and Sarah. Mary was diagnosed in her early twenties with Multiple Sclerosis. Suddenly she could not be the caretaker she had dreamed of being for them, yet through all the physical and emotional hard times, Mary’s brightest smiles were when her children were by her side.
Mary was an example of Gods faithfulness to her whole family and all who knew her. She was anchored in a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and simply trusted him for everything. Matthew 6: 25-33.
Mary warmed up a room with her devotion and encouragement given to whomever she was with, her easy laughter, and silly antics, her joy in all the simple things… games of rummy, cheering for her beloved Red Sox, dressing up for lunches out with family and caregivers, Sister week and her legendary love for a Mud Slide!
