

Maryellen (Nevins) McElman, 55 of Hanover and formerly of Quincy, passed away on October 6, 2014. She was born in Boston on August 18, 1959. Maryellen had worked for the Cardinal Cushing Center for over 30 years. She loved traveling and camping, particularly at Glenn Ellis Campground in North Conway, NH. Maryellen was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, and wife. Maryellen is survived by her husband Thomas A. McElman and their daughters, Emily L. and Hannah M. McElman of Hanover. She is also survived by her parents Patrick and Mary T. (Lewis) Nevins of Weymouth. Maryellen was the sister of Robert Nevins of Weymouth, Brian Nevins and his wife Maryellen of Kingston, Michael Nevins and his wife Susan of Braintree, and Amy Gonzales and her husband Michael of Weymouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, HANOVER, on Friday from 4-7PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at Saint Mary of the Sacred Heart, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover, at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery in Hanover.
