Meredith Ann (Wood) Tierney, 80 of Hanover, passed away on December 20, 2024. Born in Boston on August 2, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Evelyn (Nordgren) Wood. Meredith was a hairdresser for many years.
Meredith was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Tierney. Loving mother of Christine Tierney, Thomas M. Tierney and his partner Katy Cameron, and Douglas W. Tierney, his wife Kristin Tierney and their children Jonathan, Jameson and Michael Tierney.
Memorial visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Monday, January 6th from 10-12pm, with a funeral home service at 12pm. Meredith will be laid to rest at Massachusetts National Cemetery with her husband in the spring.
A celebration of life luncheon and cocktails will immediately follow at The Tinker's Son, 707 Main St., Norwell. All are welcome.
