Michael A. Marino, 72, of Norwell died Friday, August 9, 2002 in the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a brief illness. The son of the late Thomas and Theresa Muraco Marino, he was born in Lawrence on August 27, 1929. He was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Boston English High School. Mr. Marino served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a retired Sheet Metal worker, having worked for the D.J. Cutter Company in Dorchester. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie A. Bongiorno Marina of Plymouth, a sister, Josephine C. Petrell of Norwell and 2 brothers, Gaspari N. Marino of Carver and Henry J. Marino of Lynn. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at 11 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover. Interment will be Private.
