Patricia Hynes Reidy

Patricia Frances Hynes Reidy, 72 of Weymouth, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Born in Boston on September 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Henry Hynes and raised by her mother Patricia (Haley) Johnston and Donald Johnston of Hanover. Patricia obtained her Masters Degree in teaching from Salem State University, she loved to read and write poems as well as spending time at the beach in her younger years at Martha's Vineyard. As an aunt, she enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews grow into young adults. She is survived by her siblings Donald Johnston of Hanover, Michael Johnston and his wife Shelley of Rockland, Brian Johnston and his wife Jill of Pembroke, and Dennis Johnston of Pembroke. Patricia is also survived by her nieces and nephews Anna (Johnston) Kelly, Dennis, Zachary, Tyler, Ryan, Alexander, Rachael and Alyson Johnston as well as being a great aunt to Lina, Riley, Skyler and Ronan.

Visitation will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan Street, Corner Route 14&58, Hanson, on Thursday from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at Holy Apostles Parish (formerly St Joseph the Worker) 1 Maquan Street, Route 14, Hanson. Burial at a later date at Hanover Center Cemetery.
