Patricia S. Bowman Nichols

Patricia S. ?Pat? Bowman Nichols, 64, of Norwell died suddenly at home on Wednesday, January 4, 2006. The daughter of the late F.Warren and Ella G. Monahan Bowman, she was born in Boston on December 20, 1941. She was raised and educated in Weymouth, but has called Norwell her home since 1964. Her special pride was in her children and grandchildren. As their beloved ?Mum? and ?Gam? she enthusiastically supported them in every endeavor. She enjoyed being the ?Mom? in residence at her son's store, Technical Skate Shop in Norwell, where she was loved and admired for her kindness and thoughtful advice. Patricia especially loved summers on Cape Cod with her family and an annual weekend in Boston each Christmas season. She loved shopping trips with her daughter and best friend Nancy, and always had the perfect suggestion for home decorating projects. Extremely talented at knitting and crocheting, she produced many works of art for her family that will be cherished. Patricia touched many lives and will be terribly missed for her spirit and strength by all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles R. Nichols, 1 daughter, Nancy Nichols Sifflard Norwell School Guidance Councilor and her husband James Sifflard, 2 sons, Christopher Nichols Norwell Police Prosecutor and his wife, Janet Nichols and John Nichols Owner of Technical Skate Shop in Norwell all of Norwell, 6 beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Adam and Stephen Sifflard and Michaela, Colin and Caroline Nichols all of Norwell and 1 sister, Nancy Clay of Marblehead. She was the sister of the late Barbara Bowman and the late Stephen Bowman. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10 AM in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Norwell. Internment in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Sunday from 3-7 PM.
