Patricia Ann Higgins Nickerson

Patricia Ann Higgins Nickerson, 62, of Plymouth died Thursday, November 28, 2002 in her home after an illness of several months. The daughter of the late Andrew J. and Abbie MacDonald Higgins, she was born in Hingham on February 3, 1940. She was raised and educated in Hingham and lived in Weymouth and Rockland before moving to Plymouth 5 years ago. Mrs. Nickerson was the Owner of Patricia's Sub Shop in Westwood in the 1970's and 1980's. Until 2 years ago, she was employed as a Prep Cook at Bella's Restaurant in Rockland. She was a Member of the Halifax Country Club, a Member of the South Shore Country Club Women Golfers and a Member of the Rockland Golf Course. Wife of the late Howard E. Nickerson RPD she is survived by 1 son, Andrew J. Curley and his wife, Denise of Hingham, 4 daughters, Deborah Munroe and her Husband, Rick of Taunton, Donna Masse and her husband, Michael of Palm Coast FL, Debbie Vecchione of Rockland and Jan O'Connor and her Husband, Jack of Rockland, 1 brother, Richard Higgins and his Wife, Bernadette of Wareham, her longtime companion, Moe Hassan of Plymouth and 11 grandchildren. She was the Sister of the late Gerald J. Higgins. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 2, 2002 at 10 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Hingham. Visiting Hours on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
