Patrick J. Higgins

Mr. Patrick J. Higgins, 95, of Plymouth died Friday, November 21, 2003 at home in Plymouth. The son of the late John and Mary Horgan Higgins, he was born in Ranturk, County Cork Ireland on April 21, 1908. He came to the United States in 1929 and settled in Boston. He was a resident of Cambridge for many years and lived in Hanover for 7 years before moving to Plymouth 7 years ago. Mr. Higgins was a retired Employee of the former Railway Express at the South Station it Boston. Husband of the late Ellen Downey Higgins, he is survived by 3 sons, James B. Higgins of Hopewell NJ, David D. Higgins of Braintree and Edward J. Higgins of Weymouth, 2 daughters, Patricia A. Izzo of Plymouth and Barbara A. Daniels of Hanover, 1 sister, Margaret Donovan of Ireland, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 9 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment will be in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover on Monday from 4-8 PM.
