

Paul A. Lindquist, 64, of Hanover died Thursday, November 6, 2003 in his home after a short illness. The son of the late Wallace L. and Nellie M. Kaselis Lindquist Sr, He was born in Brockton on April 30, 1939. He was raised and educated in Abington and was a Graduate of Abington High School and a Graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he was later inducted into their Football Hall of Fame. After his Graduation, he was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings Professional Football Team and Played for the New England Patriots as a Defensive Tackle in 1961. Mr. Lindquist was employed by Walmart in Abington as their Sales Manager. He was the late Co-Owner of the Estes Auto Supply Co. in Rockland. He served as a 1st Lt. in the Army from 1962 until 1964. Mr. Lindquist was a Member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge in Hanover and a Member of the Shedad Grotto, Aleppo Temple and the Scottish Rite of the Masons. He is survived by his wife, Carole A. Lind Lindquist, 1 son, Robert M. Lindquist of Hanover, 1 daughter, Amy C. Lindquist of Fall River and 1 brother, David A. Lindquist of Abington. He was the Brother of the late Wallace L. Lindquist Jr. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 10, 2003 at 10 AM in the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 77 Rockland Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
