Paul Cummings York, 70 of Norwell passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014. The son of the late Edgar and Lillian (Cummings) York, he was born in Quincy on January 20, 1944. He proudly served in the US Naval Reserves in the late 1960's. Paul had been employed as a HVAC Technician. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed spending time with family. Paul is survived by his children, Christine A. McCarthy and her husband Kevin of Peabody and Brain F. York and his wife Ana of San Francisco CA, 2 grandchildren, Parker and Keira. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Ruth Pinkus, 3 brothers and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Graveside service on Thursday at 10 AM in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell.
