

Mrs. Pauline Dorothy West Walters, 91 of Hanover, died Friday, April 16, 2004 at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home after a brief illness. The daughter of the late George and Annie MacKiel West, she was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia Canada on October 22, 1912. Her family moved to the United States in 1928. Mrs. Walters lived in Medford for many years. She was active in Women's groups at the Universalist Church. She later moved to Chelmsford. She has lived with her daughter in Hanover for the last 6 years. Mrs. Walters loved to Bowl and was very Artistic. She was married to her late husband, George Henry Russell Walters for 56 years. She used her artistic talent with her husband to make and decorate moveable wooden dolls. Her late husband, ?Russ? was of German descent and was one of the founding families of Lunenberg Nova Scotia. She is survived by 1 daughter, Dolores C. Petty of Hanover, 1 son, Kenneth Walters of Gross Point Park, MI, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. One of seven children, Mrs. Walters is also survived by 1 sister, Ruth Riley of ID. Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 12 noon in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover. Internment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday morning from 11:30 until the Service at 12 noon.
