Phyllis F. Flahive Carlson

Phyllis F. Flahive Carlson, 86, of Hanover died Thursday, February 6, 2003 in the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a short illness. The daughter of the late William and Hazel Henry Flahive, she was born in Boston on October 26, 1916. She lived in Braintree before moving to Hanover 30 years ago. Mrs. Carlson worked as a Secretary in the Life Insurance business until her retirement in 1985. She will be missed by her Family and Friends, many from the Hanover Senior Center, where she volunteered for many years. She was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hanover Council on Aging. Mother of the late David Boschen, she is survived by 3 grandchildren, David Boschen, Matthew Boschen aid Sharon Callahan, 1 daughter in law, Carole Boschen of Plymouth, 2 sisters, Barbara Rutledge of Marshfield and Lee Rathgeber of New Castle NH, 1 brother, Webster Flahive of Santa Barbara CA, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at a later Date. Visiting Hours are omitted. Memorial donations may be made to the Hanover Council on Aging, 624 Circuit Street, Hanover, MA 02339.
