Raffaela "Pearl" Papagno

Pearl Papagno of Norwell, died February 8, 2024, at the age of 89. Beloved daughter of the late Matteo and Anna Papagno of Quincy; devoted sister of Matteo Papagno, Anthony Papagno, Victor Papagno and Anna Elrick, the late Sebastian Papagno, Raymond Papagno, Connie Parks, and Maria Spagnoletti. Also, loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Pearl lived in a community in Norwell with others like her where she was loved by all she knew.  She enjoyed her work where she was brought each day with her housemates to do various tasks in manufacturing. She was well taken care of by the kindhearted staff in Norwell and her family was so grateful for this.

Pearl always brought a smile to those she was with and could easily be brought to a laugh and to brighten up a gathering. Her siblings loved having her for visits to their homes with her nieces and nephews and she was a happy person bringing joy to those around her. Her infectious laughter and the love she gave to all will be greatly missed. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Thursday at 9:30 AM with a funeral home service starting at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, 20 Sea Street, Quincy.
