Richard A. Perry, 89 of Halifax, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. He was the husband of Phyllis B. (Johnson) Perry. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Herbert B. Perry and Edith H. (Mann) Perry and brother of he late Robert B. Perry. He is survived by his wife Phyllis and their son James A. Perry of Halifax.
Richard was a graduate of Brockton High School and Franklin Technical Institute. He held several positions in the electrical construction field and engineering duties in the supermarket industry. Richard served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid boater, both sail and power, and was a former full certificate holder in the U.S. Power Squadron.
All services will be private. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
