Richard Winsor West

Richard Winsor West, 90, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022. He was the son of the late Doris F. West and Loring G. West. He was born in Brockton on June 27, 1931 and lived most of his life in Pembroke Massachusetts. He graduated from Bates College in 1953 and served our country as an Army counter intelligence officer during the Korean War.

Richard was the devoted husband of Elaine West, his wife of 65 years, Loving father of David West and his wife Kimberly of Pembroke, Jonathan West and his wife Karin of Northborough, Richard Loring West and his wife Leigh Ann of Hopkinton. Dear grandfather of David, Jr. and his wife Arielle, Patrick and Morgan, Ryan, Matthew, Catherine, Nicholas, Karissa, and Kailee West. He was the brother of the late Rachel Jones of Boylston.

A memorial service will be held on June 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke's Church, 465 First Parish Rd, Scituate, MA 02066. Burial immediately following the service at Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Organization for Autism Research, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, or Arthritis Foundation.
