Mrs. Rita Natalie Thompson Roach, 89 of Ocean Bluff Marshfield formerly of Brockton and Abington died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at home after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Raymond and Alta Gowell Thompson, she was born in North Abington on December 6, 1919. Mrs. Roach had formerly been employed as a stitcher at Foot Joy and Stetson Shoe. She loved the beach, her dogs and her family. Wife of the late Alton Roach and George Cappellini, she is survived by 2 sisters, Cecille LaPointe and Jacquelyn Funder both of Abington and over 100 nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the sister of the late George Thopmson. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 AM in St. Bridget Church, 455 Plymouth St., Rte 58 in Abington. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery in Rockland. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St. in ROCKLAND on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
