Robert W. Betts

Robert W. Betts, 73 of Pembroke died at home surrounded by his family on November 15. Son of the late Alfred W. and Cecelia D'Amore Betts, he was born in Boston on September 24, 1938 and was formerly of Revere and Weymouth. Robert spent his career as an offset printer, was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus of Pembroke and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Thecla Church in Pembroke. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Moran Betts. Loving father to his children Robert W. Betts Jr. and his wife Zlata of Attleboro, Tim Betts of Woburn, Linda Kennedy and her husband Patrick of Braintree, Laurie Galley and her husband Billy of Pembroke and Mary Ann Betts of Pembroke. Special grandfather to Kerri Betts, Sgt. Christopher Galley, Andrew Galley, Katherine Galley, Brian Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy, Ian Betts and Maya Betts and his great grandchildren Ema Archer, Jaycob Galley and Jayden Galley. Robert is also survived by his brothers Paul Betts of Middleboro, Gary Marston of FL and his sister Carol Brewer of Hull. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Friday from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11AM in Sacred Heart Church, 55 Commercial St., in Weymouth Landing. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
