Robert F. Greene, Jr.

Robert F. Greene, Jr., “Bob”,  83 of Pembroke, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024. Born on May 19, 1941 in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert F. and Helen M. (Connolly) Greene. Bob proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a supervisor at Reebok for many years. He enjoyed gardening, taking care of his lawn and traveling especially to Old Orchard Beach 3 times a year with his family, Lancaster, PA to visit Amish Country and the Caribbean. He also enjoyed watching baseball, football, car racing and in his younger years, golfing. Most of all, Bob loved spending time with his family.

Bob leaves the love of his life, his bride of 59 years, Florence C. (Hammer) Greene. Devoted father of Diane Dearth and her husband Steven of Whitman and the late William F. Greene. Dear sister of Barbara Bombardieri of GA. Cherished grandfather of MacKenzie and Taylor Dearth who were his pride and joy. Bob is also survived by many cousins. 

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Thursday, October 3rd from 4-7pm. A funeral home service will be held on Friday at 10am, followed by a burial at Pembroke Center Cemetery.
