

Robert “Harry” Harrington, 62, of Plymouth, MA passed away tragically on July 22, 2022. Robert was a loving husband to his wife and high school sweetheart, Kathleen “Kathy” (Neville) Harrington, and devoted father to his two children, Ryan Harrington and his wife Rachel of Pembroke, MA, and Amanda Recio and her husband Carlos of Hingham, MA. He was the son of the late Maurice “Bucky” Harrington and Catherine “Kay” (Brennock) Harrington.
Robert leaves behind his many siblings and their spouses including Marianne Torney of Green Bay, WI;. Daniel Harrington and his wife Marguerite of Pearl City, IL; Thomas Harrington and his wife Laura of Downers Grove, IL; Rev. John P. Harrington of the Diocese of Fall River; Timothy and his wife Deanne of Charlotte; and the late James Michael Harrington. He was adored by an abundance of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, including his beloved godchildren, Katie Torney of Braintree, MA, Tim Harrington of Pearl City, IL, and Katie Harrington of Pearl City, IL.
Robert was born and raised in Braintree, MA and graduated from Braintree High School in 1978 where he met the love of his life, Kathy Neville. Robert and Kathy married in 1985. They started their family in Braintree, MA and soon moved to Hanover, MA. Once their children were grown, the couple moved to Plymouth, MA.
Robert earned a degree in Business Administration and Management from Nasson College in Maine. In 2004, he became Questech’s Vice President of Operations in Rutland, VT, where he devoted over seventeen years.
Robert was a man of great stature, which was only equaled by his big and generous heart. He commanded every room he entered with his wit, charisma, and warm personality. His unique sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. He was a hardworking, faithful, and sentimental man who loved life. He took immense pride in his family and always put them first. To know Robert was to love him.
Godspeed Harry, you will be sorely missed by all who were blessed by your life and love. Heaven just gained a new angel.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover, on Wednesday at 10am. Burial to follow in Village Cemetery, 339 Washington St, Weymouth.
Donations in Robert’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
